Festival Committee

The SJE Fest is the parish's largest social activity. Held annually in July in the school parking lot, the Fest draws parishioners and neighbors alike into community through games, music, entertainment and great food. Volunteers for a wide variety of jobs are always welcome and needed.

The Festival Committee members coordinate all aspects of our annual event. They meet throughout the year to plan the programs. If you are interested in volunteering to work at the fest or be on the committee, please contact one of the Festival Committee Core Team members:

Donations of the following items are appreciated. Items can be dropped off at the White House located in the parking lot of the Day Chapel.

ALSO ACCEPTED:

TRIP cards for Kmart, Wal-Mart, Gordon Food Service, and Jewel. Please leave cards in the Festival mailbox at parish office.

Toy Donations of new and like-new toys and stuffed animals. Please mark all donations "children's games" and bring to the White House.

Hooligan Booth is seeking new and/or never been used items such as knick-knacks, jewelry, house wares, etc. to stock the popular game booth. Please mark all donations "hooligan booth" and bring to the White House.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Festival Set-up: Please show up if you are available to help.

  • Thursday July 16th beginning at 6 PM
  • Friday July 17th beginning at 6 PM
  • Saturday July 18th beginning at 2 PM
  • Sunday July 19th beginning at 2 PM

Children's Games: Volunteer to work a 2-3 hour shift and earn service hours for next year! Families are welcome to work together. Also, young volunteers are wanted for the tattoo and facepainting booth. Contact Annette Craney at 219-365-4878 or annette.craney@yahoo.com.
