P.A. for Worship
Bio
My husband Mark and I, along with our family, have been parishioners at SJE for the last 27 years and I have been a member of the staff for 22 years. With a background in music and education, I have served and taken leadership in the areas of music and liturgy here at our parish.
Responsibilities
As the pastoral associate for liturgy,
my ministry is varied but consists of coordinating all aspects of our liturgies including overseeing the liturgical ministers and helping couples and families in planning their marriages and the funerals of their loved ones.
What do you enjoy most about your ministry?
My greatest enjoyment is being part of our weekend liturgies and seeing people positively impacted by praying and singing together and growing closer to God. I also enjoy being with parishioners at the joyful times of receiving the Sacraments and honored to minister to them at funerals in their time of grief.
How can people get involved in your area of ministry?
We have many opportunities for service in the liturgical ministries for Lectors, Ushers, Greeters and Extraordinary Ministers of Communion, along with a need for creative and practical help in the areas of Art and Environment— the beautification and seasonal decorating of our church. We also have a funeral choir for people who enjoy leading others in prayer and singing who are available during morning hours.

Psalm 150: 1-2,6. Hallelujah! Praise God in his holy sanctuary, give praise, in the mighty dome of heaven. Give praise for his mighty deeds, praise him for his great majesty.
Let everything that has breath give praise to the Lord! Hallelujah!
